Register in Production
======================

When the new MN has passed all testing in the been running successfully Staging
environment, the next step is to populate the MN with production quality data
and register it in the DataONE Production environment.

The procedure for this is the same as for when registering in a test
environment. However, DataONE issues certificates in the Production environment
only after careful evaluation of a new MN.

Follow the steps in the :doc:`registration` document to register the node in the
Production environment.
